WRITERS GUIDELINES

 

 

 

 

We do not accept articles where the author writes about themselves and their aspirations. For this sort of content we ask the writer to consider advertising in The Healing Journal – a profile or display ad or a listing in the Directory of Practitioners.

 

We do not accept “advertorials” as editorials.

Deadline for articles is at least two months prior to publication. Articles received after the deadline may be held for the following issue(s). We are unable to promise any particular publication date for any articles, even those that are accepted.

  

 

Submissions

  • At this time, we do not pay for articles or exchange for advertising.
  • At the end of your article you may submit a 10-20 word biography or statement about yourself.
  • Your article must be original.
  • Reprints of articles from other publications and other authors are not accepted.
  • After publication, all rights revert to the author.
  • Some articles will also appear on our web unless you specifically request in your cover letter that we not print it on the internet.

Manuscript Format

Please send all materials by email. We will also accept electronic file versions of submissions in popular word processor formats (e.g. Word, AppleWorks, Wordperfect etc.)

Please print the author's name, address, telephone number, email address and approximate word count in upper right hand corner of each page.

We reserve the right to edit articles for readability and brevity.

No changes can be made to your article once it is accepted.

We reserve the right to reject any and all submissions.
