Sing to the Whales
Dawn Smith, who has been a healer for the past 30 years, has received special healing songs from her Spirit Guide who says she must leave on her healing voyage to the South Atlantic. This “Sing to the Whale” healer is preparing for an 18 months, 17000 miles, single-handed healing voyage to The Azores, The Canaries, Cape Verde Islands, Brazil, Tristan da Cunha, The Falkland Islands and Patagonia, in her 22 foot junk rigged fibreglass sailing boat Windway.
She leaves no later than May 2012, to sing the healing songs and balance the earth’s energies in preparation for a great change that is coming to the planet. Her guide has told her that the Whales and Dolphins are very important to mankind and are key to the changes that are coming.
Out on the ocean Dawn will sing these sacred songs to pods of Whales and Dolphins, to help them in their struggle against hunting, long line fishing and pollution, which has seen their numbers fall dramatically over the last century. "Whenever humans encounter whales and dolphins they inevitably have a feeling of joy and spiritual enlightenment in their presence. Just seeing a whale raise its mighty tail above the sea, or power up into the air and fall back with a terrific splash sets the heart racing. Dolphins have long been known for their extraordinary healing energies and all sailors love seeing them as they ride a boat’s bow wave."
Her spirit guide has also asked her to take these songs to the nuclear test sites in the South Atlantic and the Pacific Oceans, as these, she says, need their energies balancing to help stabilise the planet.
On this voyage, Dawn will visit the epicentre of the nuclear test that was held close to Tristan da Cunha in the 1950’s.
Her Spirit Guide has also asked her to visit disused whaling stations in the South Shetland Islands and South Georgia in the Southern Ocean close to Antarctica and to clear the memories of the whales killed there and then to sail into the Pacific Ocean as far north as Japan, Russia and China to sing the healing songs and on her voyage to New Zealand to visit the nuclear test sites in the Pacific.
Dawn learnt to sail when she was seven years old, sailing Cadet dinghies and later raced Fireball dinghies in her teens. When she was 18 she started sailing offshore and became a capable sailor and navigator, cruising offshore and competing in RORC and JOG races.
Whilst Dawn is prepared to sail her 22 foot Windway as far south as the Falkland Islands, she cannot take her into the Southern Ocean to the South Shetland Islands or into the North Pacific where storms with hurricane force winds and 40 foot waves are common and where the ever present danger of floating sea ice could easily sink her little boat.
In order to visit the list of earth sites given to her by her Spirit Guide, Dawn will need to sail a much bigger and stronger, steel boat. Tahaweh Minwah the project leader, is hoping to link with healing groups around the world, so that when Dawn goes ashore on a dangerous site, she will be able to link all the groups together to send Dawn as much positive energy as possible to help her in her work. Minwah at UK 0871-508-0997 or email at minwah@singtothewhale.org
To meet the cost of buying the steel boat and funding these very important healing voyages, Sing to the Whale has launched an appeal to raise £50,000. Details at http://singtothewhale.org.
"When Dawn is working ashore at whaling stations or nuclear test sites she is often in a hostile environment and at her most vulnerable as she has to project enough healing energy to clear the site, but at the same time must leave enough in reserve to stay safe and to get herself back to the boat. Cleansing these sites will take a lot out of her, both physically and emotionally. In order to help her with this very difficult task, I want to set up a network of groups in different locations in the Northern and Southern hemisphere, whom I can contact."
"I also need to organise a support network, so if the boat is damaged at sea, volunteers can come to her aid when she puts into port to make repairs. If she cannot stay on the boat, it will be good to know that she can be offered somewhere to stay until she can put to sea again.
As the voyages progress Dawn will record events with her video camera and I will liaise with the support groups to arrange for her to put into port and give a talk to the groups and show the video footage."
